love the country and love its people. if you are Dutch you should be proud!
In the east where I come from, it is tradition to go fishing eel or trout with the men of the family and smoke them afterwards.
It's a joy to watch your travel video of my own country, well done!
i like your standard and nice english commentaries
8:40 Aalsmeer is nothing compared to Naaldwijks auction house. For you tourists, don't visit the Westland. It is boring, you'll miss absolutely nothing.
Beautiful country

Lovely show. Great host.
Hello Rick, I do love and appreciate your travel Guide shows. I get to learn so much and get inspired. I just wanted to ask you to please consider doing a video on Ethiopia. There is so much to see and learn from. Plus its a way to promote to Ethiopia to the world.
Love the Netherlands. Ive been 4 times and can't wait to go back. I've been as far north as Groningen, and as far south as Limburg, Usually stay with friends in De Kwakel.
fabulous video! I went for the first time last summer, I wish I'd seem this before I went …. definitely must go back!
We deal with Dutch people on daily basis, one of the best, smart & hardworking people, make more sense after watching this video. Beautiful presentation from host!
For those who don’t know: Scheveningen was greeted by fire literally raining from the sky on New Years 2018-2019. They build the happiness fires to high…. if that isn’t a warning I don’t know what is
Schevinengen should be Scheveningen
During the 1980's and 1990's, while first in the university and later working as an executive, I've traveled several times between Athens and the Arctic Circle, in Norway, and all that lies between the two; I believe that includes Netherlands as well. Amsterdam is the only real city in Netherlands.Den Haag, Utrecht, Madurodam and the others were too dull for me. Rick Steve is one of the very few Americans who pay as much attention to detail as Englishmen and whose observations are neither superficial nor sketchy.
