You missed more than half the island! There is far, far more to see once you head north past Parksville. Comox Valley, Campbell River, Port Hardy, All of Strathcona Park including Mt. Washington and so much more!

They DID forget some amazing places – Cowichan Bay – the only Cittislow designation in Western Canada – the next closest one is Lac Megantic if I remember correctly! It also features the FIRST restaurant on Vancouver Island to be featured on the TV show – You Gotta Eat Here!

This is pretty much just a scenic guide to South Vancouver Island. If you stay in Victoria and only travel to Sooke and Juandefuca, you really haven’t left Victoria yet.

Great video, although it only covered roughly half of Vancouver Island, no mention of the Comox Valley Glacier or world-class Skiing on several mountains, Campbell River and so many more. If you are thinking of visiting our incredible island, just know this video could have been 4 times as long and still would not cover the whole 500km rock we call home. -Chad from Victoria.

I’m glad I live here in Vancouver Island. They should’ve add some lake within Nanaimo too. But I guess its not good enough for expedia. 🤷🏻‍♀️ They can visit Westwood lake, Pipers lagoon, or Neck point, Morell Nature Sanctuary…
